Service Technician

We have a rare opportunity for an experienced Service Technician to join an established and professional medical supplies company based in the Hills District.

This role is responsible for providing technical support and repair services to  our many customers within the medical industry throughout Australia and NZ.

Responsibilities within this role include:

• Performing and managing equipment repairs – workshop and field based.
• Dealing with customers who require support with our range of products
• Attending and receiving manufacturer service training when necessary and ensuring that the department stays current with the latest manufacturer technology & product repair changes.
• Involvement in new product installations – software and equipment
• Installing new products where necessary.
• Managing Service & Preventative Maintenance Contracts

To achieve the above, you will have:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Service Technician
• Qualifications in electrical or biomedical engineering
• Experience within the medical / healthcare sector
• Valid driving licence
• Not a clock watcher  – there may be occasions where you will be required to work outside normal hours
• Strong interpersonal skills both verbal and written
• Ability to travel overseas or interstate occasionally for training
• A high competency in computer literacy
• Able to resolve complex technical issues
• Attention to detail
