We want YOU to join this vibrant team in Norwest, a leading specialist medical service known for providing exceptional care and expertise to patients
As a Medical Receptionist, you’ll be the friendly face and the first point of contact for our patients. You’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming, efficient, and patient-centered experience. Your responsibilities will include:
- Patient Reception: Greet and check-in patients with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Appointment Management: Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments using Genie Software, ensuring optimal clinic flow.
- Medical Records Management: Handle patient files, update records, and ensure confidentiality in compliance with privacy regulations.
- Phone Support: Answer incoming calls, address patient queries, and direct calls as needed.
- Billing and Payments: Process patient billing, handle insurance claims, and manage financial transactions accurately.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with our specialist team to ensure seamless operations and top-quality care for our patients.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience with Genie Software: You must have hands-on experience using Genie Software for scheduling, patient management, and billing. Familiarity with the software is essential.
- Medical Reception Experience: Ideally, you’ve worked in a medical reception role, but we’ll consider strong candidates with transferable skills from other customer-facing roles.
- Organised & Detail-Oriented: You thrive in a fast-paced environment and excel at multitasking without compromising accuracy.
- Excellent Communication Skills: You have a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor, both in person and over the phone.
- Empathy & Compassion: You genuinely care about people and understand the importance of providing exceptional patient care and support.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using computers, medical software, and office equipment.
- Team Player: You work well in a collaborative environment and are always ready to pitch in where needed.
