With continued growth, this successful global construction organisation is looking to recruit a qualified Accountant to join their busy team on a 10-12 week contract.

You responsibilities will include the following:
- Exposed to preparing and reviewing of annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy.
- Exposed to or involved in the annual audit process, including liaising with external auditors.
- Preferred but not essential experience in the property development industry or related sectors.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel in context of preparation of annual reports.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to review financial reports and suggest changes where appropriate.
- Finalise accounts for submission to external accountants for company tax return and financial statements
- Yearly insurance review and submission to Insurance Brokers re Professional Indemnity and Management Liability insurance
- Annual Workers Compensation Return
- Review of vendors and purchasing contracts
- Weekly/ monthly reporting
- Oversee business compliance requirements
Key competencies for success in this role include:
- You will ideally be CA/CPA qualified with a minimum of 5 years’ experience or working towards that level of qualification
- You will have strong accounting and payroll knowledge
- A professional and friendly demeanour
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A positive work ethic
- Sound planning/organisational skills
- Ability to work to strict deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
- Solid experience in EXCEL
