Types of Work
Temporary & Contract
Temporary work may suit you if your lifestyle requires flexibility and you are not looking for long term permanent employment. (Although some temp jobs do move into permanent roles).
Temp work allows you to experience a variety of different employers and industries, which may interest you if you haven’t decided what industry may suit you – you get a chance to try them out.
Temp work is also a great solution if you are looking for short term assignments eg. University students, working to fit in with your children’s schooling, more flexible hours to fit in with your other interests and activities or just a way to save money to fund your next holiday! Working for different businesses also means you get to learn new skills, systems and processes – all great to build up your resume.
Temp to Perm
Sometimes starting work with a company as a Temp gives you the opportunity to get your “foot in the door” to a company you would like to work in but they don’t have any permanent roles currently. If you do a great job and the opportunity then comes up, you should be well placed to be hired. It’s a great chance to “try before you buy” and really get an insight to how the company works.
Permanent
There are many reasons a permanent role may attract you. It may be stability, working for a particular company, location, salary and benefits, career development and the desire to make a longer lasting commitment and contribution to a business.
This is why it is so important for us to work with you to ensure a great match for you and your new employer.
