Our Process

Fusion Careers is your ideal recruitment agent for staffing in the Greater Western Sydney area…

At Fusion Careers we take the time to listen to you and get a detailed brief of what you need in terms of not only technical skills required, but also the culture of the company, what sort of candidate would be the right fit in your team environment – for your immediate staffing needs and also for the future.  We listen, and then respond based on our knowledge and experience.

Once we have commenced the recruitment process there are five key stages:

Telephone Screening:  We will conduct a broad recruitment activity to source suitably qualified candidates and conduct initial telephone screening.  Your business name will only be divulged to pre interviewed candidates, or if we have received your prior permission to utilise your company name.

Reference Checking: To confirm our selection of shortlisted candidates we undertake comprehensive reference checking to validate candidates CV’s, qualifications, strengths and weaknesses and future potential, prior to making any offers to final candidates.

Short list:  We will select the most suitably qualified candidates and undertake face to face interviews utilising best practice interviewing techniques.  We will present your business professionally to candidates with background information on the role and your environment.  We will present you with a short list of candidates and provide detailed feedback on their background and experiences, interview presentation, fit for your role and our recommendations.  If appropriate, we will undertake additional skills testing or psychological profiling (fees apply).

Client Interviews:  After agreement on the short-listed candidates, we will co-ordinate interviews with you and the selected candidates, and receive feedback from both parties in a timely manner.  Interviews can be held at your premises or Fusion Careers offices.

Making the offer: We will advise the successful candidate of the offer and act as the liaison point for you regarding salary negotiations, offer letter and contract, length of notice period, commencement date and any specific induction details or requirements.  Once the formal job offer has been accepted in writing by the candidate we will advise unsuccessful candidates promptly.

Follow-Up: We will follow up with you and the candidate after commencement in the role to ensure there has been a smooth transition for you and the employee.
